Skinny on Stress,Heavy on Success

They did an awesome job! Can't wait to call them for any moving needs in the future! They moved all the furniture and storage bins from my house to my storage units, they were efficient and professional, Thank you so much!

Jacob and Tim did a great job- communicative, flexible scheduling on VERY short notice (I went from messaging them to moved-in in about a day!) and fun to chat with during the process. My service was about a 3 hour charge for moving my mattress, a large TV cabinet, a large bookshelf, a dresser, my desk, a coffee table, and a day bed/couch. I didn't realize that my day bed/couch would need to be disassembled and reassembled, but these two were good sports about it and were able to get it done quickly. One of them even pointed out what I can do to fix a loose part on my coffee table, which was super cool of him. Overall, great service, great price, I recommend highly.

Did a great job with moving things, came on time, did a good job of communicating. I definitely recommend!

My girls and I recently used these wonderful guys for a short distance move across town. I have moved many times in the past and let me just say, these "Lads" are the real deal! They are fast, efficient, respectful, priced fairly and punctual (which most moving companies are not!) All this to say, we will definitely be using them in future moves! Thank you guys for all your help 🙂

This company is wonderful. I made many mistakes communication and deposit wise, and they took it all in stride and worked with me graciously and patiently. Will definitely use them again in the future and will encourage others to do so.

Tim, did a great job for both of my moves. I highly recommend them

Skinny Lads Moving was incredibly professional, efficient, and affordable. They successfully moved my huge couch through a second-floor balcony, which was no easy task. I was extremely happy with their service and would absolutely use them again in the future.

I'd greatly recommend Skinny Lads! They were reasonably priced, efficient, and very friendly! They helped disassemble and reassemble our furniture and made the whole move stress-free. Great price too!

Skinny Lads and Tim were fantastic! They were quick and very reasonable with the quote, fast with the move, and very understanding and willing to work with us on a few issues. They were very careful with our furniture and being aware of our animals. Thanks for all your help!

I live in NC, my grandmother had to move from Madison to Deerfield! Called these guys and man my grandmother had absolute professional service. I'm only writing this because my grandmother asked me to. I truly appreciate these guys for helping her out in a time of need when I couldn't.

Fast, efficient, and affordable.

Another successful move by Skinny Lads! This is our second time moving with Skinny Lads. Tim is amazing! We had a very short notice regarding moving my Father from our home to an assisted living facility. When I called Tim he understood our need and was able to accommodate our time frame. Skinny Lads were on time, they were focused and there was no wasting time. The entire move was completed as discussed, with no surprises. If you are looking for an efficient, no nonsense move, these are your guys. We highly recommend them!

These guys are great! They are very personable, dependable and get the job done! Great rates too! I had an excellent experience with them and would highly recommend supporting their small business! Thanks Skinny Lads!

What a seamless terrific experience. The "lads" helped us move to our new location with much patience, grace, and muscle power. Very reasonable pricing! Very friendly and wonderful to do business with. Thank you SKINNY LADS!!!!

We've used Skinny Lads a couple of times to move furniture upstairs. They've been friendly, communicative, and fast both times.

The Lads did such a great job, I can't thank them enough! They were quick, efficient, and respectful of our belongings. I would recommend them for any size move, they were very accommodating. Thank you again!

Skinny lads were very responsive from the start of the experience. They answered all questions and put my mind at ease during the moving process. They called 30 min to arrival, which I was very appreciative for and moved all of my items quickly. The process was very smooth. Both movers were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Rates were very reasonable as well!

These guys are great to work with! They do incredible work and show awesome customer service.

The furniture was moved quickly and safely. The 2 friendly movers made sure the items were exactly where we wanted them

Great experience, would recommend.

Prompt, friendly and affordable - Sam and Dylan did a great job for my brother's small move across Stoughton. Great communication, plus they were fast but careful with our things, and honest about an accidental overcharge that they handled immediately. Highly recommend!

Outstanding!! These Skinny Lads were very efficient, fast and did an overall Outstanding job. I would use them again.

Skinny Lads was great to work with! They were very responsive, organized and pleasant. I would highly recommend them!

I chose Skinny Lads based on reviews I found on Nextdoor and I am very happy with their service! The team was communicative before and during the move and worked very hard. I'm very pleased with the service and the price, I would highly recommend.

Reliable, on time and efficient, definitely recommend and will use for my next move

My move went very smooth and they communicated great throughout the process. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

We recently used Skinny Lads Moving LLC to move our entire household from Verona, Wisconsin to Holly Springs, North Carolina, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, they were professional, responsive, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. I worked primarily with Tim and Sam, and both were fantastic. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and I always felt like I knew what was happening and what to expect. The move itself went remarkably smoothly. They were on time, flexible, careful with our belongings, and handled everything professionally. Most importantly, after moving an entire household from Wisconsin to North Carolina, nothing was broken or damaged that they moved — which is an incredible result for an interstate move! What really stood out to me was their willingness to go the extra mile. Although Skinny Lads is based locally in the Madison area, they took on our interstate move all the way to North Carolina, and they handled it just as professionally as I would expect from a large national moving company — while still providing the personal service you get from a local company. They also made what is normally an extremely stressful process feel much easier. They were courteous, dependable, flexible when plans needed to adjust, and respectful of our home and our belongings. The crew worked hard, stayed organized, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. Moving across state lines is a huge undertaking, and you're putting an enormous amount of trust in the people handling everything you own. Skinny Lads earned that trust. If you're in the Madison area and need a move — including an interstate move — I would strongly recommend giving Skinny Lads Moving a call. Based on our experience, I would absolutely use them again. Thank you Tim, Sam, and the entire Skinny Lads team for making our Wisconsin-to-North Carolina move such a smooth and stress-free experience! You guys were fantastic. 🙌

Our experience was wonderful. Hard working & very helpful with our move

Skinny Lads moving was great. Friendly, responsive, punctual, efficient and knew what they were doing. So glad we had the help!

Working with the Skinny Lads was awesome. Communication was great. They were on time, efficient and careful with my Mom's belongings. They were also very reasonably priced compared to movers I have used. Highly recommend for any moving services.

Tim and his crew did a great job moving my huge China hutch, 8x11 oriental rug, sold wood table with a wrought iron base and lounge chair from my living room to my sunroom. Would use again; highly recommend!

The staffs are all very nice and friendly. They did the job fast. I'm very satisfied.

These guys are great to work with. Easy and timely communication… showed up in the final hours when I needed them the most! They allowed me to help out and even taught me a few things about carrying, lifting, and packing techniques.

Awesome crew. Very empathetic and helpful.

Cross country move with short notice! If there were 20 stars we would give it to them! No games! Put a lead out there and of course 20 companies called. Skinny Lads is the ONLY one that actually came to the house, looked at what we really had and gave us a REAL estimate! Not a fake number just to get the job! Nothing short of perfect! Packed and loaded 2 FULL trucks and drove overnight to unload us the very next morning. Not a single minute of down time. Starts with a walk through, loaded everything, hit the road. Another walk through and a non stop unload! I cannot thank them enough!!

The two Skinny Lads were right on time and worked efficiently to help me move some things that required some assistance. They responded to my initial email literally within minutes and I had them booked and ready to go minutes later.

Skinny Lads Moving was fantastic! They were punctual, professional, and handled all my belongings with care. The move was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

This whole experience was outstanding from the very first contact until the move was completed. Tim was professional, personable, efficient, and excellent to work with. He made a stressful situation into something fun. He took excellent care of my belongings and made sure everything went where it was supposed to in my new home. I highly recommend Skinny Lads to anyone who is searching for a mover. You won't regret it!

Really happy with these guys!!! They were super friendly, showed up on time, and made the whole move way less stressful. Great price and would absolutely use them again.

I was so impressed with their great communication from the very first day of inquiry until moving day, incredible service, and professional manner! I would highly recommend, and we'll certainly be contacting them for future moves!
